For high concentration ethanol waste gas, the biological treatment effect may not be ideal.

High concentrations of ethanol exhaust

Absorption method: The absorption liquid is in contact with the exhaust gas to absorb the harmful substances in the exhaust gas into the absorption liquid. This method is suitable for the treatment of high concentration of waste gas, but the equipment is complex and the operation cost is high. At the same time, the absorption solution needs to be replaced and treated regularly to avoid secondary pollution.

Catalytic combustion method: The use of catalysts to reduce the combustion temperature of the waste gas, so that the waste gas is burned in the absence of an open flame and converted into carbon dioxide and water vapor. This method has high treatment efficiency and is suitable for waste gas treatment of various concentrations, but the equipment is complex and the operation cost is high. At the same time, secondary pollutants such as nitrogen oxides may be produced during the combustion process, requiring further treatment.
